I was so thrilled to DJ Annika & Brandon’s wedding at Merrimon-Wynne in the beautiful new Carriage house!  It’s an amazing room and looked even more beautiful with Tre-Bella’s flowers.

The ceremony was supposed to be outside, but it rained for a while leading up to the ceremony, so it was moved inside the house where Annika’s friend Caleb provided music on violin.

After the ceremony by Kayelily guests stayed in the house and enjoyed the porches with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres.  After the cocktail hour guests made their way outside to the Carriage house and found their seats.  I lined the wedding party up and they all had a fun dance to come in to.  Annika & Brandon had their first dance and Annika’s father welcomed everyone.  The salads and entrées came out and I had a mix of soft rock, classic soul and standards playing.

After dinner we had toasts and the cake cutting then Annika danced with her father and Brandon with his mother. I opened the floor to everyone with some Motown and oldies that filled it for the next 2 hours.

During the dancing I played top 40, oldies, some 80’s & 90’s and a few boy bands. We ended the night with “Wagon Wheel” and a sparkler exit before they got into the rickshaw for the getaway.

This was one of my favorite weddings, and not one I, or the guests, will soon forget!

Thank you again

  1. Thanks, Randy! I was wondering how it went after I left as I dashed off to a rehearsal at Rose Hill. Looks like it was a lot of fun! Great couple!!
