What a fun wedding ceremony
& reception Morgan and Justin had at Highgrove Estate!!
The ceremony was held in the
back overlooking a pond and wooded hill.
As the 110 guests arrived I had a mix of classical versions of pop songs
playing. The ceremony was underway
shortly officiated over by Minister Randy Taylor.
After the ceremony the guests
made their way to the back patio for cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres. During the cocktail hour I had a mix of
country, rock and soul playing.
After the cocktail hour, I
invited guests into the ballroom for dinner and dancing. I left music playing in the ballroom and went
in the house to line up the wedding party with help from Highgrove’s
Grace. The wedding party came into the
room and lined up in front of the sweetheart table. Morgan & Justin came in to thunderous
applause and right to the floor for their first dance to “I Don’t Dance”. After that they took their seats and the
salads and family style entrees came out.
During dinner I played more country, rock & classic soul.
After dinner we had the
toasts and cake cutting then the anniversary dance that started with all
couples (not just married) with Morgan’s Grandparents winning. They were so cute and looked as happy as they
could be! I opened the floor to everyone with some Motown and top 40 that
filled the floor for the next hour and ½.
We paused briefly for the
bouquet toss and an AO Pi loving cup song, then back to dancing til the end of
the night. We ended with “From The
Ground Up” and a sparkler exit from the front of the house. I was thrilled to see Justin dancing even though
he never dances!!
This was one of my favorite
weddings, and not one I, or the guests, will soon forget!
