Ashleigh & Harris have
got to be two of the nicest people I have DJd for!
Their ceremony was held at
The Cotton Room and they had 2 violinists provide music for that while I
provided a mic for the minister. After
the ceremony guests made their way to the front of the room for cocktails while
the staff flipped the room for the reception.
During the cocktail hour I had a mix of country, rock and beach playing.
After the room was ready, the
white linens opened and the 100 guests found their seats. I introduced the parents and wedding party
and finally Ashleigh and Harris. They
came in to loud cheering and right to the dance floor for their first dance
followed by a welcome by Harris and blessing by their minister. The buffet opened and I had the same music mix
playing.
After dinner we had toasts
and the parents dances, then the “longest married couple” dance with Harris’
parents winning. I opened the floor to
everyone with some Motown and top 40 and the photo booth opened and guests
started playing on the beer pong table.
We paused briefly for the cake cutting then back to dancing to top 40,
70’s & 80’s and a few ballads until the end of the night and a sparkler
exit.
