Brown/Dean wedding at The Carolina Inn on July 5th, 2014

Molly and Daniel were married outside in the Carolina Inn’s Bryan Courtyard on a beautiful July afternoon with Melissa Sayre from The Inn and planner Sarah Morris from Erin McLean events.  Guests arrived and found their seats while I had a mix of light classical music playing in the background.  The Grandparents and Parents came down the isle to “Canon In D”, the wedding party to “Ave Maria” and finally Molly and her father to “Here Come’s The Bride”.  Their Minister Anthony Thomas ran a wonderful service and Molly and Daniel read their hand written vows to each other.  The ceremony concluded with their kiss and they came back down the isle to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)”.

Guests made their way to the Old Well Room hallway for cocktails and I had a mix of soft rock and standards playing.  The doors to the ballroom opened and guests made their way to their tables with floral arrangements by Fresh Affairs.  The wedding party entered to James Brown’s “I Feel Good” and the adorable flower girl to “Happy” by Pharrell.  They all had a unique dance just for them.  So fun!  Molly and Daniel made their way to their table and took their seats.  Molly’s father welcomed everyone for coming and Daniel’s father blessed the meal.  The salad’s and entrée’s shortly came out and I continued a standards and soft rock playlist.

Dinner ended and we went right into toasts by Molly’s father, Daniel’s father and Molly’s Maid Of Honor.  Molly and Daniel made their way up the stairs to the Cinda’s cake cutting to “How Sweet It Is”, and then they made their way back to the dance floor for their first dance, which could not have been more special!  Molly’s bridesmaid Lauren sang Ingrid Michaelson’s version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You”.  It was perfect and actually got a tear out of me during her practice.  What a beautiful voice and performance!  Molly wanted all the couples to join them half way through the song and they did.  The floor filled.  Daniel then danced with his mother to “You’ve Got A Friend” and I opened the floor with “My Girl” that brought everyone back out.  I shortly went into some current dance music since there were a lot of younger friends of Molly and Daniel’s there.  It was great to see their college friends dancing with their parents and even Molly’s Grandfather that was dancing to “The Wobble” and “Empire State Of Mind” by Jay Z!

We stopped briefly for the bouquet toss to “Single Ladies” and garter toss to “The Man” by Aloe Blacc, then back to dancing to some 80’s sing a long songs.  The night ended with “Just The Two Of Us” by Bill Withers and they had a bubble exit from the front of the Inn.  What a fun night and I still want to know where Daniel’s grandfather Guillermo got that cool shirt!  I am so jealous…. I can't wait to see the pictures by Amber Wilson!
